Tramale Turner
Tramale is an author, speaker, and technology leader that has tirelessly invested in hearing underrepresented voices amplified in his field for more than 20 years. Most recently he was an engineering and site leader at Stripe’s Seattle Engineering Hub where he focused on core infrastructure, compliance, and sensitive data vaulting in addition to leading a site of well over 1000 employees.
Tramale’s teams were responsible for the most critical Tier 0 service at Stripe, the Cardholder Data Environment, and he was instrumental in several mission-critical initiatives including Stripe’s regulatory-compliant entry into the Indian market. He has previously led teams at companies such as Nintendo, F5, Critical Mass, and The Volkswagen Group. Tramale cares deeply about giving back and serves as a Board Director of Town Hall Seattle as well as a member of the Technical Advisory Committee for LeadDev.
In his free time, he enjoys travel, cooking, and spending as much time with his family as possible. Tramale studied Computer Science Engineering at the University of Pennsylvania, and holds an MBA from Oakland University.
