John Schoenecker is the Government Relations and Regulatory Strategy Director for TaxBit. He leads the company's engagement with personnel on Capitol Hill and in the federal government's executive branch. Prior to joining TaxBit, John was a counsel on the staffs of the Senate Judiciary, Senate Finance, and House Ways and Means Committees.  Before that, he was a trial attorney for the Department of Justice’s Tax Division where he litigated high-dollar complex tax-shelter cases on behalf of the United States.
