Steven McGrath is a CPA and Tax Subject Matter Expert Manager at TaxBit. He joined Taxbit in 2021 to focus on government relations and help government entities, such as the IRS, apply tax law to complex crypto and transactional data related to digital assets. Before Taxbit, Steven specialized in securitized debt tax consulting and compliance in the financial markets group at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Washington, D.C. His previous experiences include Forms 1099 and 1042-S reporting, FATCA/CRS compliance, structured debt tax calculations, and consulting. Steven earned both his Bachelor and Master's Degrees in Accounting from Brigham Young University.
