The Role

TaxBit’s Senior Manager, Events and Field Marketing sits within TaxBit’s Marketing department and will oversee management of events from concept to completion. You will be working with team members of varying levels of experience and skill, vendor partnerships, manage budgets, order services, create timelines, meet all deadlines on time. You will build out a robust events calendar to support the overall goal of building brand awareness, supporting sales goals and business development objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the strategy and execution of small and large scale virtual and in-person conferences,  tradeshows, and events 
  • Align the regional field events (hosted events, roundtables, etc.) to support marketing and/or sales goals for new customer leads and opportunities exhibitions, and participation
  • Manage and execute all logistics including overall speaker and attendee experience, staffing, registration, and overall event logistics
  • Help evaluate and manage external vendors and third-party event co-marketing opportunities
  • Track spend within allocated budget and build effective reports to determine performance and ROI of events
  • Work with cross-functional team members (Design, Sales, MarTech, Product Marketing, etc.) to support the orchestration of high-impact integrated marketing campaigns
  • Partner with VP of Marketing for pre and post event outreach messaging, event booth staffing, and lead flow management to maximize brand presence and identify areas of improvement
  • Provide onsite event staff/support when needed

Desired Skills & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional experience in a fast-paced marketing environment
  • 5+ years event experience
  • Experience managing projects to a fixed budget and proven ROI
  • Experience managing third-party vendors and contractors
  • Willingness to roll up his/her sleeves to get the work done or go the extra mile. Strong personal work ethic and problem solver
  • Flexible personality and quick learner who operates with a sense of urgency
  • Ability to travel for work
  • Proven ability to take direction and input in order to develop effective and engaging branded events that will achieve organizational goals
  • Social Media and influencers marketing a plus
