A 15-year IRS veteran, Fuller served as senior counsel at IRS, Office of Chief Counsel where he handled front-line advisory questions, represented the government in tax court, led a team of field attorneys specializing in virtual currency issues, and trained other attorneys and IRS examiners on virtual currency examination techniques and tax issues.

Matthew Schell is a partner in the national office of Crowe LLP and located in Washington, DC. Within the national office, his responsibilities include directly supporting the audit practice on complex technical accounting and regulatory issues. He serves as a designated liaison to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the federal financial institution regulators on practice matters related accounting, financial reporting and regulatory issues. Matthew is a member of the CAQ's Emerging Technology Taskforce and the co-chair of the AICPA's Digital Assets Working Group.

Prior to becoming a partner with Crowe, he spent two years in the Office of the Chief Accountant (OCA) of the SEC as a Professional Accounting Fellow (PAF). Prior to joining the SEC, Matthew was a senior manager at Crowe LLP in the New York office where he served clients within the financial services industry, including banks, savings institutions, broker / dealers, and investment companies.

Matthew holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from Illinois State University in Normal, Illinois. He is a CFA® charterholder and is a certified public accountant, licensed in the District of Columbia and New York. Matthew is a member of the AICPA and the Greater Washington Society of CPAs.

Sean is a San Francisco based Senior Manager in the Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) practice of EY. He has over ten years’ experiencein financial services working primarily in New York, Illinois and California,where he has provided both external audit and advisory services to global financial services institutions, regional and community banks, and digital asset exchanges.

In the last few years, Sean has focused primarily on the Blockchain and FinTech sectors, assisting these technology companies through various phases of their growth journey, including audit readiness, IPO readiness, mergers and acquisitions, and transformation projects focusing on impacts to accounting, financial reporting, regulatory reporting, governance and internal controls.

Lindsay is a New York based Partner of Financial Services at EY. She brings with her fifteen years of expert experience. Lindsay enthusiastically supports CFOs and finance functions through sustainable growth, strategic transactions and transformation.

She has significant experience advising banks, broker dealers, asset managers, FinTechs, digital asset companies, and other financial institutions in US, London, Sydney and Mumbai.

Lindsay is passionate about growth markets and financial services innovation, specializing in IPO/SPAC readiness, regulatory compliance, ESG, and finance optimization.

Dave leads Attivo’s Web3 practice working with more than 40 companies where he provides specialized technical and operational guidance. He also serves as a CFO for some of our clients. He has over 10 years of experience as a CFO. As an operational CFO Dave has exceptional analytical and financial modeling skills applied to SaaS and financial products such as cryptocurrencies. Dave spent his early career on Wall Street with Merrill Lynch responsible for budgeting, financial reporting, controls, and profitability analysis for financial products with over $3 billion in revenue, as well as over $100M in annual technology spend for several business units. In addition to his work with Attivo, Dave runs a family office specializing in high-frequency cryptocurrency trading, market making, and yield farming for the past six years.

Mackenzie Patel is a CPA and the CEO of Hash Basis, a crypto-native accounting firm. She and her business partner, Courtney, started Hash Basis to share their crypto accounting & tax expertise with the blockchain industry. She also does the accounting for dOrg, the first DAO to be incorporated as an LLC in the United States. Mackenzie is based in San Francisco and loves hiking around Angel Island.
