Seth Wilks
Senior Director of Government Relations, Subject Matter Expert
Seth Wilks serves as TaxBit's Senior Director of Government Relations.
He's regarded as a leading expert on cryptocurrency tax matters and been heavily involved in educating and informing policy makers and regulators in all financial matters related to digital assets. In March 2020, he was recognized as a cryptocurrency tax specialist and served as a panelist at the IRS’ invite-only Virtual Currency Summit at the IRS’ headquarters in Washington, DC. Seth focuses his efforts on developing relationships with key crypto players on Capitol Hill as well as within the Treasury Department and the IRS.
He started his career as a Tax Consultant for Big Four accounting firm EY and led global tax departments for Fender Musical Instruments, P.F. Chang’s China Bistro, and Clarus Corporation (Black Diamond Equipment).
